Destroy the Coffin and release your future.

Date: March 24, 2012
Service: Sunday Service
Preacher: Pastor Kehinde.
Topic: Destroy the Coffin and release your future.
The preacher draws the topic from the bible text in Luke 7: 11-15.  This was the story about a miracle Jesus performed in the city of Nigh. There was a mother who was a widow and her only son die and was been carried in a bier (coffin). She wept so much that Jesus saw her and had compassion on her. Jesus said weep no more and laid hands on the bier and those that carried her son stood still and the young man rose up and Jesus handed him over to his mother.

The preacher illustrates that at the point the young man was been carried in the coffin, his future had been cut shout, his destiny withheld, the hopes, visions, expectations  his mother had on him dashed to pieces by the spirit of the coffin that held him captive. He further explain that the coffin in the spiritual realm  is an instrument of slavery and oppression used by the enemy to hold one captive of achieving Gods plan and purpose for once life.
Coffin symbolizes seven things in the spiritual realm: Fear, Blindness, Stagnation, Captivity, Slavery, Evil exchange, Tears, The presence of evil and Death.

Looking at some of this items from the lane mans point of view when an individual is in a coffin there is fear around the situation that made that circumstance to arise, the people around are afraid because they are reminded that death could come knocking at any point in time. When a person is in coffin blindness is in existence because the individual is not only dead but confined to a box and has to rely on the sight of his bearers. The limitation that arises from been locked in a box set stagnation and captivity into place. Stagnation involves not been able to move ahead or backwards, obviously when one is been confined to a box there is stagnation and when one has no control over it then the person is held captive. Slavery comes into play because an individual that has no control over his affairs can be tossed around anyhow. In all if one is confined into a box (coffin) for a certain period of time either dead or alive, death will definitely set in.

Different situation in our life can be associated to the existence of a spiritual coffin which has held us captive. Spiritual coffins are used to manipulate once success, plant terrible sicknesses and diseases into the life of a person, limit once potentials, inflict confusion, restrict one from doing the will of GOD and so on. We must establish a spiritual war against this spirit of the coffin so that our futures, visions, potentials, destinies that is been held captive can be releases by fire. However, it must be noted that this cannot be done effectively unless we surrender completely to GOD move closer to him by doing his will and studding his word and also by consistent prayer and fasting. With God and him alone are all this made possible. AMEN.

Prayer Point:
Every coffin that has held me captive, break into pieces by the power in the blood of Jesus and release me by fire in Jesus name.
Every coffin sprit pursuing me around, fall down and die in the mighty name of Jesus.

Enemies of my helpers, FALL DOWN AND DIE IN JESUS NAME.

Date: February 29, 2012
Service: Wednesday Revival Service
Pastor: Dr D.K Olukoya
Topic: Enemies of my helpers, FALL DOWN AND DIE IN JESUS NAME.
The enemy of our helpers is a terrible form of wickedness. These are the powers that do not want to see one prosper and wouldn’t allow any other person to give any form of assistance.
The enemy of our helpers is known as the spirit of Sanballat and Tobiah. Nehemiah 2:10. The bibles tell us that Sanballat and Tobiah were very grieved because Nehemiah sought the welfare of the children of Israel. They did everything possible in their power to ensure that Nehemiah did not succeed at assist/helping the children of Israel but the greatest helper GOD was on Nehemiah side and so he succeeded. Sanballat and Tobiah employed different means like threatening, lying, killing, deceit in order to drag Nehemiah backwards but the Lord mightier in battle saw him through.
There are many kind of enemies which include partial enemy, killer enemies, triangular enemies, envious enemies, hindering and limiting enemies, destiny enemies, mocking enemies, household enemies, environmental enemies, disguise or masquerade enemies, swallowing enemies, e.t.c However, the most wicked of all is the Enemies of our helpers.
The enemies of our helpers are the once that pretend to love us but secretly rejoice to see us suffer. They show care and love as long as one languishes in trouble and complain regularly. The lord has programmed different helpers for people at different point in time so that their destiny can be made manifest. However, the enemies of our helpers are at their best to see that it doesn’t come to past. The tragedy with this kind of enemies is that they cannot be easily identified except through the divine intervention of the most high God. Spiritual war fear must be established against the enemy of our helpers and it must not be taken lightly; one must work closely with God in order to overcome this power because only with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26.
Prayer Point:
Every enemy of my helper, wherever you are, fall down, die and rise no more in Jesus name. Amen.
O God re-energize my helpers wherever they are and let them begin to locate me for good in Jesus name.

Connecting to the dryer of tears. GOD

Date: March 3, 2012
Service: Saturday Power Must Change Hands Service
Pastor: Dr D.K Olukoya
Topic: Connecting to the dryer of tears.
The bible says a lot about tears, infants weep, strong men weep, even the tears of Jesus was mentioned in the bible at least three times. Examples: Jesus wept over Jerusalem when he saw the tragedy that was about to befall the city, Jesus also wept at the grave of Lazarus when the children of men could not recognize the miracle of resurrection that was about to take place and he also he wept at the garden of Gethsemane where he prayed to his father before he was betrayed by one of his disciples.
A tear is a mysterious language on its own; it’s a tongue that needs no interpretation. When there are no word to explain a situation, tears flow, when the mind is overwhelmed by situations that cannot be expressed tears flow.
The fist tears recorded in the bible was mentioned in 2 kings 20: 1. And this recorded when king Hezekiah was sick unto death and the prophet Isaiah told him the lord said he was to put his house in order because he was going to die, Hezekiah turned to the wall and prayed to the lord and cried bitterly and this made the lord dry his tears and change the proclamation of death upon his life to additional fifteen more years.

There is no one on the face of the earth that will not need the dryer of tears (GOD) at a point in time. Life situation and circumstances bring verity of tears to our door step. The bible identifies the follow tears.
Tears of Joy:          Gen 33:4
Tears of sorrow or suffering:      2kings 20:15
Tears of Desperation:                Esther 4
Tears of Travail:                        Isaiah 42:14
Tears of repentance:                  Joel 2
Tears of compassion:                 John

There are right and wrong tears, when men experience pain, sorrow or rejection the next thing that follows is tears. A tear has more to do with the soul than the body, what cuts the soul hurts more than what cuts the body and the cut of the soul often times manifest into tears.
Soul tears manifest in the following circumstances (examples):
Not when the husband is sick but when the husband abandons the wife.
Not when the son is born but when the son becomes wayward.
Not when the friend leaves but when the friend betrays the friendship.

God takes note of all our tears and enters it into the record of our life. The psalmist says the lord has heard the voice of my weeping. This really counts spiritually if it’s been shed for the right reasons because each tear drop is a coded message to God about the circumstances that cause the shed. Malachi 3:16.

How to connect with the dryer of tears: If one depends on men and circumstance our lives will be filled with discouragement and despair. The bible says woe is him that put his trust in man. There is a song that says JESUS NEVER FAILS; MEN OF THE WORLD MAY LET YOU DOWN BUT JESUS NEVER FAILS. This is a true fact to always have at the back of once mind.

One needs to become a friend of God and have violent faith in God in order to connect to his mighty power that dries tears. We shouldn’t allow tearful circumstances burry weigh us down but seek to know GOD more and work in his righteousness so that all are tears can be dried by the only one is mightier that the mightiest.

Prayer Point: O God convert all my weepings into might testimonies in Jesus name. Amen.

Working in the Supernatural/ Connecting with the God of the Supernatural

Date: February 29, 2012
Service: Wednesday Revival Service
Pastor: Dr D.K Olukoya
Topic: Working in the supernatural/ connecting with the God of the supernatural. Job 9: 4-10.
The preacher enlightens our views by identifying a phrase in the word of God called signs and wonders. Our God who is supernatural is known as the God of sign and wonders. This means our Lord is immediate and powerful action of God.
The preacher further explains that a sign is an unexpected divine action that points people to God and also makes people believe his word. It’s a miraculous activity that causes unbelievers to change their mind easily towards God (this indicated Gods unfailing love for man going an extra mile to guide his children back to light).
The bible says this supernatural icon (SIGN’) shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

A wonder on the other hand is an event that cannot be explained by the law of nature, it is something so unusually that causes the beholder to Marvell. A wonder is God special act that cannot be duplicated, it causes astonishment and make people to be afraid of the might power of the Lord most high.
It must be noted that the supernatural act of signs and wonder can be used both positively and negatively. God can bless us with signs and wonders and also smote our enemies with signs and wonders (Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon was smoothened with a wonder as punishment from God).
God’ supernatural power can override our capacity to believe, he can convert our rejection to acceptance, subtraction to addition, pain to gain, liability to asset and much more. Key to the word of God today and see how well he will perform his signs and wonders in your life.
Prayer Point: O God of Elijah baptize my life with your sign and wonders in Jesus name. Amen.
