Working in the Supernatural/ Connecting with the God of the Supernatural

Date: February 29, 2012
Service: Wednesday Revival Service
Pastor: Dr D.K Olukoya
Topic: Working in the supernatural/ connecting with the God of the supernatural. Job 9: 4-10.
The preacher enlightens our views by identifying a phrase in the word of God called signs and wonders. Our God who is supernatural is known as the God of sign and wonders. This means our Lord is immediate and powerful action of God.
The preacher further explains that a sign is an unexpected divine action that points people to God and also makes people believe his word. It’s a miraculous activity that causes unbelievers to change their mind easily towards God (this indicated Gods unfailing love for man going an extra mile to guide his children back to light).
The bible says this supernatural icon (SIGN’) shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

A wonder on the other hand is an event that cannot be explained by the law of nature, it is something so unusually that causes the beholder to Marvell. A wonder is God special act that cannot be duplicated, it causes astonishment and make people to be afraid of the might power of the Lord most high.
It must be noted that the supernatural act of signs and wonder can be used both positively and negatively. God can bless us with signs and wonders and also smote our enemies with signs and wonders (Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon was smoothened with a wonder as punishment from God).
God’ supernatural power can override our capacity to believe, he can convert our rejection to acceptance, subtraction to addition, pain to gain, liability to asset and much more. Key to the word of God today and see how well he will perform his signs and wonders in your life.
Prayer Point: O God of Elijah baptize my life with your sign and wonders in Jesus name. Amen.
