Topic: Connecting to the dryer of tears.
The bible says a lot about tears, infants weep, strong men weep, even the tears of Jesus was mentioned in the bible at least three times. Examples: Jesus wept over Jerusalem when he saw the tragedy that was about to befall the city, Jesus also wept at the grave of Lazarus when the children of men could not recognize the miracle of resurrection that was about to take place and he also he wept at the garden of Gethsemane where he prayed to his father before he was betrayed by one of his disciples.
A tear is a mysterious language on its own; it’s a tongue that needs no interpretation. When there are no word to explain a situation, tears flow, when the mind is overwhelmed by situations that cannot be expressed tears flow.
The fist tears recorded in the bible was mentioned in 2 kings 20: 1. And this recorded when king Hezekiah was sick unto death and the prophet Isaiah told him the lord said he was to put his house in order because he was going to die, Hezekiah turned to the wall and prayed to the lord and cried bitterly and this made the lord dry his tears and change the proclamation of death upon his life to additional fifteen more years.
There is no one on the face of the earth that will not need the dryer of tears (GOD) at a point in time. Life situation and circumstances bring verity of tears to our door step. The bible identifies the follow tears.
Tears of Joy: Gen 33:4
Tears of sorrow or suffering: 2kings 20:15
Tears of Desperation: Esther 4
Tears of Travail: Isaiah 42:14
Tears of repentance: Joel 2
Tears of compassion: John
There are right and wrong tears, when men experience pain, sorrow or rejection the next thing that follows is tears. A tear has more to do with the soul than the body, what cuts the soul hurts more than what cuts the body and the cut of the soul often times manifest into tears.
Soul tears manifest in the following circumstances (examples):
Not when the husband is sick but when the husband abandons the wife.
Not when the son is born but when the son becomes wayward.
Not when the friend leaves but when the friend betrays the friendship.
God takes note of all our tears and enters it into the record of our life. The psalmist says the lord has heard the voice of my weeping. This really counts spiritually if it’s been shed for the right reasons because each tear drop is a coded message to God about the circumstances that cause the shed. Malachi 3:16.
How to connect with the dryer of tears: If one depends on men and circumstance our lives will be filled with discouragement and despair. The bible says woe is him that put his trust in man. There is a song that says JESUS NEVER FAILS; MEN OF THE WORLD MAY LET YOU DOWN BUT JESUS NEVER FAILS. This is a true fact to always have at the back of once mind.
One needs to become a friend of God and have violent faith in God in order to connect to his mighty power that dries tears. We shouldn’t allow tearful circumstances burry weigh us down but seek to know GOD more and work in his righteousness so that all are tears can be dried by the only one is mightier that the mightiest.
Prayer Point: O God convert all my weepings into might testimonies in Jesus name. Amen.
Thanks great post
